This is the sixth and final room of the collection on permanent exhibition: The victim’s voices. Although the presence of the victims has been constant throughout the journey through the museum, this is a space specifically dedicated to listening directly to their testimonies. If this Memorial to to have any purpose at all, it is so that they can explain their experiences to us in the first person.
These testimonies have appeared at different times and in different places. They are interviews granted to the media, appearances in documentaries or talks in schools. It is a very somber and sad archive but it is necessary to study it because of its tremendous educational value. The large screens show a selection of victim’s testimonies taken from different terrorist attacks. To the right, the computers, with our complete archive of testimonies, more than a thousand entries, and which is constantly being updated.
